Pa. boys charged in middle school sexting case

CHESTER COUNTY, Pa. (WKBN) – Four Pennsylvania middle school students are facing charges after an investigation into sexting and cyber-bullying charges.

Police say a girl, who was a student in middle school in the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District at the time, gave intimate photos to her then-boyfriend. After they broke up, he shared those photos with others.

According to Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan, some of the boys intimidated and bullied the girl.

“You had a group of boys in a school in Chester County who used sexting, cyber bullying and traditional bullying to make a young girl’s life miserable,’ Hogan said.

Three of the boys, including the girl’s ex-boyfriend, were charged in this specific case.

The fourth boy was charged in a similar but unrelated case that police came across during their investigation.
