MEADVILLE, Pennsylvania (WKBN) – Cambridge Springs hadn’t won a post-season game since 1997. Well, that was before tonight. The Blue Devils impressed from start to finish as they posted a 34-6 win over Wilmington.

The Blue Devils’ began the game with a 14-play, 65-yard drive which ended with Cody Lanning’s 10-yard touchdown. Steve Reisenauer kept the ball on the two-point quarterback keeper to give Cambridge a 8-0 advantage.
Then, midway through the second quarter, Reisenauer passed a 16-yard score to Hunter Cox to extend the lead to 16-0 at the half.
In the opening twenty-four minutes, the Devil defense held Wilmington to less than 20 yards of total offense.
On the Blue Devils’ first drive of the second half, Cambridge capped it off with a Zach Stafford 43-yard score to take a 22-0 lead. The next time the Devils’ touched the ball, Reisenauer scampered 53-yard to pay dirt to open the lead up to 28-0.
Wilmington gets on the board with a 11-yard touchdown run from freshman Cameron Marett to cut the deficit to 28-6.
To close out the scoring for the Devils, Stafford tallied his second score of the game (also had a 2-point) with just over six minutes to go (34-6).
Cambridge Springs (10-1) will face Farrell in the District 10 Class A Semifinal next week (site, TBA). The Greyhounds’ season came to a close at 6-5.
