Car crash on Rt. 62 in Mercer stops traffic

MERCER, Pa. (WKBN) – A crash in Mercer County stopped traffic on Route 62 Sunday morning.

The accident occurred on top of Wallace Hill between Mercer and Hermitage.

A woman was driving west on 62 around 7 a.m. Pennsylvania State Police say she swerved right to avoid hitting a deer crossing the road. Her SUV hit the guardrail and flipped onto its side.

Fortunately, the woman was not hurt and no other cars were involved.
