Girard PD looking for suspect in Dollar General holdup

GIRARD, Ohio (WKBN) – Girard police are looking for the man they claim robbed a dollar store over the weekend.

Police have accused Dave Williams of holding up the Dollar General on Churchill Road Saturday morning.

Police are calling it an armed robbery but haven’t said what type of weapon was used. It is not known how much money was taken from the store.

Williams is considered armed and dangerous. If you have any information, you can call Girard Police at 330-545-0211.

According to Girard Police’s Facebook page, Williams was last seen at Cottage Market in Niles. Police say on Monday evening that he ran from U.S. Marshals and was wearing a camouflage coat.
