Neshannock PD: Woman steals multiple steaks, is arrested

NEW CASTLE, Pa. (WKBN) – A woman was arrested after Neshannock Police say she matched the description of a suspect being sought for stealing several steaks out of meat cases.

Brandy Bartley, 36, of New Castle was charged with felony retail theft and receiving stolen property.

According to the press release, a Neshannock officer was dispatched to investigate a retail theft at Giant Eagle on Wilmington Rd. in New Castle around 12:30 p.m. on November 7th.

Upon realizing that this suspect was the same woman who was suspected of stealing multiple steaks over the past week, information was broadcast to all police units.

Union Township Police located Bartley’s vehicle in the Walmart Plaza parking lot.

Bartley was issued a $10,000 bond and incarcerated in the Lawrence County Jail.

Neshannock Police say they will file three additional charges related to previous retail thefts.
