Union members approve new 5-year contract with Delphi

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – The union representing hourly workers at local Delphi Packard plants has approved terms of a new contract with the auto supplier.

According to a release from IUE-CWA Local 717, the vote was 62% in favor of the contract agreement.

The five-year deal includes higher pay and expanded health insurance benefits. It’s retroactive to October.

This was the second time the local voted on a tentative contract agreement. The first time, members turned it down.
