YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Will you be paying $2 a gallon for gasoline for that Thanksgiving weekend trip? Maybe.
Gas prices in the Mahoning Valley were hovering around the $2 mark on Monday morning. The AAA daily survey had the Youngstown-Warren metro average at $2.05 a gallon; that’s down 14-cents over the last week.
The lowest prices were in the city of Youngstown and along I-80. Many gas stations in Trumbull County were at or below $2 according to the Gas Buddy website.
Though most metropolitan areas in the state are averaging under $2 a gallon, The statewide average is $2.01 a gallon.
