Season in Review
For the second time in the past seven years, the Eagles were crowned district champs after they defeated Cornerstone Christian (53-40) on March 13 at Grand Valley High School in Orwell. As in 2009, their run stopped in the next game. This time, they were bounced by St. Thomas Aquinas (61-51).

Zachary Usher put together another brilliant season. In 2014-15, he averaged 12 points per game and 7 rebounds while finishing in the top three in field goal percentage (52.3%) and free throw shooting (83.8%). The year prior, Usher played in 22 games where he scored 16.5 and grabbed 11.3 rebounds. Isaac Carrino led the team in three-point shooting with a 40.7% (48-118). James Burney was almost perfect at the free throw line as he missed just once in twenty-four tries (95.8%).

Key Returnees
JFK will reload this year minus a large number of contributors who led the Eagles to a 13-12 finish and a district championship. It was just three years ago that Kennedy had a youthful lineup of many sophomores and newcomers. Fast forward as this year’s roster could take shape into having that type of success in the (near) future.
