Alliance police: Suspects returned stolen items for Walmart card

Police in Alliance, Ohio are looking two suspects in connection with a theft.

ALLIANCE, Ohio (WKBN) – Police in Alliance are investigating a theft at a local Walmart that included at least four people and stolen jeans.

Police say Angel Brashear and Tyrone Freeman went to the Walmart store on W. State Street on Nov. 11 where Brashear took four pairs of jeans, valued at $103.18, and put them in her purse. She then gave the jeans to two unidentified suspects who returned the merchandise for a store credit.

Police said a fake ID was used for the return. Officers were later able to identify Brashear and Freeman.

The gift card was later canceled.

Anyone with information on the suspects pictured in the surveillance video is asked to call Alliance Police at (330) 821-9140.
