Police: Students brought pot to Youngstown elementary school

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A pair of Youngstown sixth graders could be be in a lot of trouble, after police say they were caught bringing marijuana to school last week.

Police said the students showed up at Williamson Elementary Friday smelling strongly of pot. Administrators said they found two baggies of the the drug in a restroom, and the students later admitted to bringing it.

Both students were given summons to appear in juvenile court and then turned over to their parents.
