YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A 36-year-old man is behind bars, on charges that he killed Christopher Anderson earlier this month.
The suspect, Desmond Kimbrough, was indicted on murder and voluntary manslaughter with firearm specifications by a Mahoning County grand jury.
Kimbrough was arrested on November 13, according to Mahoning County Jail records. Youngstown Police say Kimbrough is responsible for the shooting death of Anderson in front of 2240 Montclair Ave. on November 7, in what investigators described as a gun battle.
Kimbrough was also shot in the leg during the incident and was treated at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown for his injuries.
