HUBBARD TWP., Ohio (WKBN) – Strong winds and rain showers blew through the Valley late Wednesday night into Thursday morning, downing trees and causing havoc.

One tree blocked Union Road in Hubbard Township around 1 a.m. Thursday. Crews spent about an hour clearing the road.

Winds reached 40 miles per hour in some parts the Valley last night, which also led to some power outages.

Families in Canfield and Campbell were waiting for their power to come back on, although outages there have been all but fully restored as of Thursday afternoon, according to First Energy’s online outage map.
