Meadville, PA (WKBN) – The Hornets went scoreless in the first quarter, then opened things up in a 55-14 win over Fairview in a District 10 Class AA Semifinal Saturday. It was Hickory’s 14th straight playoff win in District 10, breaking the all-time record.

Hickory got on the board on the first play of the second quarter on a 15 yard touchdown pass from Luke Brennan to Andrew Pryts. The Hornets would recover the ensuing kickoff and two plays later, Charles Carr ran in a 29 yard touchdown to make it 13-0 Hickory.

Later in the quarter, Carr ran in a 7 yard touchdown, and after a blocked punt, Andrew Pryts ran in a 3 yard touchdown to extend their lead to 27-0. Pryts would also score on a 31 yard pass from Brennan late in the half to make it a 34-0 game at halftime.
