Boil advisory in effect for Campbell

Water main break in Campbell causes boil advisory to go in effect.

CAMPBELL, Ohio (WKBN) – Campbell residents should boil their water before using it and be prepared to do so for the next couple days.

A water main broke on Wilson Avenue Sunday morning.

Crews were pumping water out and working on the break for most of the day.

Water service has been restored for 90% of customers affected, but the advisory is still in effect.

The Campbell Water Authority doesn’t yet know what caused the water main break. They are expecting to keep the boil advisory going at least through Monday.
