Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC has kicked its Operation Santa Claus project into drive. From now until January 4, the dealership will donate $50 from every car sold to the United Way.

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC has kicked its Operation Santa Claus project into drive.

From now until January 4, the dealership will donate $50 from every car sold to the United Way. The goal is to raise between $20,000 and $30,000.

Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC President Doug Sweeney said he believes this is something to make customers feel good as well.

“It really doesn’t affect the deal. You know, they get a great deal either way, and I think everybody feels, certainly a lot of us have a lot to be thankful for,” he said. “It’s the giving season, so we’re excited to be part of it.”

Each year, the dealership picks a different charity that will benefit from Operation Santa Claus.
