Everett Road, driving off the north side of the roadway. The minivan struck a rock pile and a couple of tires before overturning on its side.
The driver was identified as 61-year-old Rex Martin, of Hubbard Township. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The passenger suffered non-incapacitating injuries and was transported to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. State Highway Patrol did not identify the passenger.
