2015-16 Wilmington Greyhounds’ Boys’ Basketball Preview

Season in Review
The Greyhounds failed to crack the district tournament a year ago after posting a 5-7 mark during the regular season in Region 2. Wilmington saw their overall record fall by five wins (12 in 2013-14 to 7 in 2014-15). Spencer DeMedal averaged 17 points, 7 boards and 5 assists as a sophomore. Travis Brumbaugh and Marc Peoples combined to average 16.5 points and 10 rebounds per contest.

Spencer DeMedal increased his scoring total by 6 points per game (10.7 to 17) as his rebound numbers (4 to 7) and assists (4 to 5) also jumped from the year prior. Matt Zimmer, Jacob Harvey, and Reese Bender all averaged near 5 points per game. Colton Marett and Jared Berlin also saw their point per game average hover around 3.
