Coroner identifies body found burned in Youngstown

Trey Chatman identified by Youngstown police burned in the woods

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Mahoning County Coroner has identified a body that was found burned in a wooded area on the city’s east side.

The body is identified as that of Trey Chatman, 21, of LaClede Avenue in Youngstown.

Tattoos and detailed information from the family confirmed the identity of the remains.

An autopsy will be performed Friday.

Chatman’s body was found Thursday in a wooded area off of Wardle Avenue and Liberty Street.

Police have not named any suspects.
