Highway Patrol releases Youngstown OVI checkpoint results

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – On Friday night the Ohio State Highway Patrol conducted an OVI checkpoint in Youngstown on South Avenue near Indianola Avenue from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Over 200 vehicles passed through the checkpoint.

There were six arrests for OVI, five driving under suspension, four seat belt violations (an additional two for children) and violations for drug abuse, drug abuse instruments and for an open container.
