Big 22 Class of 2015 announced

Big 22 high school football winners from the Youngstown, OH area.

2015 marks the 10th anniversary of our Big 22 and it’s come a long way over the last decade.

We’ve had alumni earn scholarships to some of the biggest college football programs in the country. They’ve won national championships and there’s even a handful playing in the NFL right now.

This year’s class is hoping to be the NEXT success story. After 15 weeks of waiting, tonight we reveal our winners. Here is our Big 22 Class of 2015.

Cooper Bezeredi - Salem High School - Salem, OH
Cooper Bezeredi – Salem
Quakers junior tailback had 145 carries for 1,278 yards and 11 touchdowns. Bezeredi accounted for 2,407 all-purpose yards, and racked up 73 tackles.

Lynn Bowden - Warren Harding High School - Warren, OH
Lynn Bowden – Warren Harding
Raiders junior quarterback had 137 carries for 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns. Bowden also completed 42 of 66 passes for 530 yards and 7 touchdowns in the air.

Charles Carr - Hickory High School - Hermitage, PA
Charles Carr – Hickory
Hornets junior tailback had 182 carries for 1,712 yards and 27 touchdowns. Carr also had 103 yards receiving.

Jacob Coates - Warren JFK High School - Warren, OH
Jacob Coates – Warren JFK
Eagles junior wideout had 34 receptions for 537 yards and 5 touchdowns. Coates also had 364 yards rushing, 1,273 all-purpose yards, and 3 interceptions.

 Mitch Davidson - Columbiana High School - Columbiana, OH
Mitch Davidson – Columbiana
Clippers junior quarterback completed 157 of 229 passes for 2,526 yards and 29 touchdowns. Davdison also had 121 carries for 1,009 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Dylan Garver - Poland High School - Poland, OH
Dylan Garver – Poland
Bulldogs senior tailback had 1,300 yards rushing and 21 touchdowns. Garver also recorded 70 tackles and 4 interceptions on defense.

 Mario Graziani - Boardman High School - Boardman, OH
Mario Graziani – Boardman
Spartans senior tailback had 922 yards rushing and 5 touchdowns. Graziani also recorded 51 tackles, 7 for loss, 2 sacks, and 1 interception on defense.

Keevon Harris - LaBrae High School
Keevon Harris – LaBrae
Vikings senior tailback had 176 carries for 1,256 yards and 19 touchdowns. Harris also had 294 yards and 5 TD’s receiving, with 47 tackles and 1 interception.

 Zach Hicks - Crestview High School - New Waterford, OH
Zach Hicks – Crestview
Rebels senior tailback had 197 carries for 1,485 yards and 24 touchdowns. Hicks also had 137 yards and 3 TD’s receiving.

George Hill - Hubbard High School - Hubbard, OH
George Hill – Hubbard
Eagles senior tailback had 109 carries for 1,006 yards and 12 touchdowns. Hill had 1,291 all-purpose yards with 23 tackles and 1 interception on defense.

Kimauni Johnson - Ursuline High School - Youngstown, OH
Kimauni Johnson – Ursuline
Irish senior tailback had 1,000 yards rushing and 15 touchdowns in just 8 regular season games. Johnson averaged 5.8 yards per carry.

Wyatt Larimer - Western Reserve - Berlin Center, OH
Wyatt Larimer – Western Reserve
Blue Devils quarterback completed 83 of 138 passes for 1,225 yards and 12 touchdowns. Larimer also had 123 carries for 661 yards and 9 touchdowns.

Bryan Leipply - Mathews High School - Vienna, OH
Bryan Leipply – Mathews
Mustangs senior tailback had 232 carries for 1,867 yards and 23 touchdowns. Leipply also recorded 101 tackles, 3 sacks, and 1 touchdown on defense.

Josh Liberati - Lisbon High School - Lisbon, OH
Josh Liberati – Lisbon
Blue Devils senior quarterback completed 92 of 157 passes for 1,407 yards and 20 touchdowns. Liberati also recorded 104 tackles, 2 sacks, and 5 forced fumbles.

Graham Mincher - Springfield High School - Springfield, OH
Graham Mincher – Springfield
Tigers senior quarterback completed 126 of 218 passes for 1,514 yards and 13 touchdowns. Mincher also had 114 carries for 472 yards and 7 touchdowns.

Keemari Murry - Warren Harding High School - Warren, OH
Keemari Murry – Warren Harding
Raiders senior tailback had 108 carries for 755 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Alex Myers - Farrell High School - Farrell, PA
Alex Myers – Farrell
Steelers senior quarterback completed 79 of 140 passes for 1,396 yards and 14 touchdowns. Myers also had 69 carries for 485 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Augustus Necastro - Brookfield High School - Brookfield, OH
Augustus Necastro – Brookfield
Warriors senior quarterback completed 116 of 208 passes for 1,899 yards and 25 touchdowns. Necastro also had 480 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns.

Malachi Newell - Farrell High School - Farrell, PA
Malachi Newell – Farrell
Steelers senior linebacker recorded 134 tackles, 9.5 for loss, 3 sacks, 4 interceptions and 1 touchdown on defense. Newell also scored 10 TD’s on offense.

Andrew Pryts - Hickory High School - Hermitage, PA
Andrew Pryts – Hickory
Hornets senior wideout had 22 receptions for 403 yards and 4 touchdowns. Pryts also had 865 all-purpose yards, 9 total TD’s, 32 tackles, and 3 interceptions.

Andrew Tomko - Sharon High School - Sharon, PA
Andrew Tomko – Sharon
Tigers senior quarterback completed 125 of 211 passes for 2,041 yards and 23 touchdowns. Tomko also had 106 carries for 699 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Victor Williams - Howland High School - Howland, OH
Victor Williams – Howland
Tigers junior wideout had 977 all-purpose yards with 9 total touchdowns. Williams also recorded 74 tackles, 22 for loss, 13 sacks, and 4 forced fumbles on defense.

The Ohio and Pennsylvania Big 22 Player of the year will be announced later this month.
