New 2016 Chevy Cruze

LORDSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – General Motors had an increase in sales last month, despite huge drop in sales of the Lordstown-built Chevy Cruze.

Compared with last November, sales of the Cruze were down 29.7 percent. A little over 16,000 Cruze vehicles were sold last month, according to information released from the company.

For the year, Cruze sales are also down by 17.8 percent.

There were 255,260 cars sold from January to November of this year, compared to 209,753 sold during the same time period in 2014.

The Cruze is still General Motor’s fourth best-selling vehicle, however, behind the Silverado, Equinox and Sierra.
