SHARON, Pa. (WKBN) – #27Difference Week continues on First News Wednesday, as some of our broadcasters will be at the Food Warehouse in Sharon, showing the work it does in the community.

The Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County is a non-profit organization and member of Feeding America, the nation’s network of food banks.

The Warehouse does not supply food directly to clients, but gets help from local grocers, retailers, and food manufacturers for low-cost food products and warehouses them for distribution to 33 member agencies. The agency distributes food to 4,200 households across Mercer County, to seniors, children, teens and adults.
