WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Tribune-Chronicle is reporting that Youngstown-based Valley Christian Schools will expand into Trumbull County, starting next school year.

VCS has four campuses in Mahoning County. The district plans to add a location at Warren First Assembly Church on Parkman Road NW, VCS President Michael Pecchia announced Tuesday.

The Warren school will initially serve students in grades kindergarten to sixth, with plans to expand to seventh and eighth grades.

“We view this as a tremendous opportunity, and we look forward to providing families there with a high quality, Christian-based educational alternative,” Pecchia said.
