Jury finds man guilty of 2013 Youngstown shooting

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Tuesday, a jury found a man guilty of committing a homicide in Youngstown in 2013.

Kalontae Carter, 19, was on trial for the death of Kristopher Stuart during a robbery.

Carter could face life in prison when he is sentenced.

Stuart was found fatally shot inside his home in the 2100 block of Elm Street.

Carter was also wounded in the exchange of gunfire and sufered a gunshot wound to his arm. He was 17 at the time of the shooting but tried as an adult.
