Warren man charged with heroin trafficking

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Warren Police arrested a man Monday after reportedly finding heroin and a digital scale at a house where he was staying.

Police charged Joe Williams, 37, with trafficking, a third-degree felony, according to jail records.

Police served a search warrant at 970 Tod Ave. NW, apartment 1, on Monday morning. Police transported Williams to the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office without incident.

The Warren Street Crimes Unit and the Warren Tactical Entry Team served the warrant.

A phone number listed for Williams on the report was not functioning when WKBN tried to contact him Tuesday.
