Mahoning Valley gasoline prices continue to fall

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Gasoline prices continue to gradually drop in the Youngstown-Warren area.

The AAA daily survey for the metropolitan area on Wednesday morning had the average price for regular grade gas at $1.77 per gallon. That’s the lowest metro area average in the state.

The local average was down another penny from Tuesday and down 42-cents from a month ago. According to the GasBuddy website, you could find gas in the $1.60s in Warren, Boardman, Salem and Columbiana.

Prices one year ago were 88-cents higher according to AAA.
