Lane to close on I-80 in Austintown Thursday night

AUSTINTOWN TWP., Ohio (WKBN) – The westbound lane of Interstate 80 between just west of Salt Springs Road and State Route 46 will be reduced to one lane, beginning 7 p.m. Thursday. The lane will be closed for the work being done on the roadway.

The work is part of a $91.5 million project to widen I-80 between state Routes 11 and 193. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by late July 2018, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

Both lanes are expected to be reopen by 6 a.m. Friday.
