WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – On the southwest side of Warren on Friday, church leaders and community officials gathered to cut the ribbon for the brand new $1.6 million Community Family Outreach Complex.
The Complex is located right behind the Monument of Faith Church of God and Christ on Highland Avenue Southwest.
Its mission is to provide hope, opportunity, education and empowerment for folks living in the low-to-moderate income range by bringing the solution to where the problem is.
“We are super excited…that we’re actually able to even see this day coming to fruition,” said administrator Alicia Williamson.
The 20,000 square foot building took about 15 years to complete and has 12 meeting rooms, a community room that can fit 150 guests and a main space that can hold about 750 people. All of those spaces are available to rent out for functions.
