Cardinals fly past Fitch

Andrew Robinson helped lead Mentor past Fitch Saturday evening

POLAND, OH (WKBN)-Austintown Fitch trailed by just one at the half but Mentor scored 53 points in the second half to earn a 86-66 win over the Falcons in the United Way Holiday Basketball Classic.

Andrew Robinson had a big night for Mentor scoring 23 points, 21 of which from beyond the arc to pace the Cardinals.

Scott Duffy held the Falcons in the game scoring 21 points (9-10 FT) with four rebounds. Anthony Pangio was a rebound shy of a double-double posting 10 points and 9 rebounds.

Mentor improves to 2-1 on the young season while Fitch drops to 1-2.
