United High School student releases first single

SALEM, Ohio (WKBN) – Just four days after the release of her first single, 15-year-old Cameron Pierson takes the stage in her hometown.

The United Local High School sophomore performed Saturday night at Shrivers Tavern on East State Street in Salem.

Pierson’s debut song, written and produced by Potomac Records, called “Stuck on You,” is now available on several digital download sites including iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play.

She says since the release on Tuesday, she’s received a lot of support.

“When my song released on Tuesday, I had a lot of people come up to me and say that they really liked it and that they were really happy for me,” Pierson said. “Actually on the announcements, they played my song that following day.”

Pierson says she’s working on a follow-up single to be released in 2016.
