Volunteers offer ‘helping hands’ in downtown Youngstown

Volunteers in the group "Holiday Helping Hands" distributed items to those in need in Youngstown.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A group of volunteers helped the homeless and less fortunate in Youngstown on Saturday.

“Holiday Helping Hands” met downtown to pass out food, clothes and toiletries to families in need.

This is the second time the group has held this event. Organizers say the turnout this time was bigger than the last one in November.
