BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – The AMVETS Post 44 gave people the opportunity to send holiday wishes to service men and women overseas during Operation Christmas Card on Tuesday.

An eight-by five-foot Christmas card was at the Shops at Boardman Park for people to sign. The card will be sent through a video on social media, as well through the mail.

Operation Christmas Card Chairman Pete Gabriel says this card is a great way for the Valley to say thanks.

“The more people who sign it, the more we show the appreciation for our community, here in Youngstown, here in the Valley, for all of the people serving overseas,” he said

You can sign the card Wednesday at the AT&T Call Center on South Avenue from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The card will also be available for signatures Thursday at Struthers Middle School from 7 a.m. until noon and at the VA Outpatient Clinic on Belmont Avenue from 1 to 4 p.m.
