Pa. girl shot walking home from school

HILADELPHIA (AP) – Police say an 11-year-old girl was shot as she was walking home from school in Philadelphia.

It happened at about 3:30 p.m. Monday in the city’s Hunting Park neighborhood.

Police say the girl was shot one time in the foot and was transported to a hospital, where she’s in stable condition.

Investigators say they’re looking for a man wearing a black skull cap and a black shirt with a brown dragon printed on the front. It’s unclear if police have identified the suspect or whether the girl was the target of the shooting.
