Mooney grad Kitchen signs with Patriots

The Cleveland Browns have released Cardinal Mooney graduate Ishmaa'ily Kitchen.

FOXBORO, Massacusetts, (WKBN) – Cardinal Mooney graduate and former Cleveland Browns Defensive Lineman Ish’maaily Kitchen has a new NFL home.  The 27-year old signed with the New England Patriots on Wednesday.

Kitchen played three seasons in Cleveland from 2012-2014.  During his time with the Browns, he played in 40 games with three starts, and finished with 90 tackles.

After being released by the Browns in September, Kitchen signed with Detroit, but did not register any tackles.  He was released by the Lions on October 23rd.

Kitchen began his NFL career in Baltimore, signing with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent back in 2012.  He was released at the end of training camp, and claimed off waivers by Cleveland.
