YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The United Way’s new Success After Six program is getting a financial boost.

Talmer Bank and Trust made a check presentation Wednesday during the YSU women’s basketball game for $5,000 to the program.

The dollar amount donated was decided by the football team. Talmer donated a set amount for each field goal made this year, which ended up being a record-setting 19.

The Success After Six program helps students maintain their grades by keeping them in school and encouraging their family to get involved.
