Beaver Local falls by two, again

RICHMOND, Ohio (WKBN) – The Wildcats’ Zac Kramarich finished off a 24-7 fourth quarter with his game-winning shot to give Edison a 68-66 win over Beaver Local.

Kramarich closed out his day with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Josh Wolka led the ‘Cats with 19 points and 14 rebounds (9 offensive). Hunter Talkington connected on a pair of three-pointers as he tallied 15 points.

Edison outrebounded the Beavers, 33-15. Beaver Local turned the ball over 24 times.

Chase Wilcox led the Beavers with 18 points as he accumulated four 3-pointers. Bryce McKenzie added 17 while Jake Underwood had 12.

Beaver Local (1-4) has now dropped their last four contests, three of which were decided by six points or less. Next up for the Beavers is another road contest at Oak Glen on Tuesday.

The Wildcats will hit the road after their three-game homestand when they travel to Toronto on Tuesday.
