CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – Students in Canfield got a chance to learn about the judicial system on Friday.

Mahoning County Juvenile Court Magistrate Anthony D’Apolito stopped by C.H. Campbell Elementary School. He was there to talk to fourth grade students about being good citizens in the community. He also sent them a message about staying out of trouble.

“If you just do what’s right, you listen to that little voice in your head that always tells you, you should do this or you shouldn’t do that — your conscience — you’ll never break the law,” D’Apolito told students.

D’Apolito is currently running for a spot on the bench in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.
