Mincher tallies 1,000; Lisbon tops Springfield

LISBON, OH (WKBN)-Springfield’s Graham Mincher scored 29 points Friday to eclipse the 1,000-point mark in his career as his Springfield Tigers fell to Lisbon 76-60.

It was a back and forth game in the first half with both teams trading the lead several times with the Tigers holding the last lead of the half to go to the break up 32-30.

But the Blue Devils outscored the Tigers 46-28 over the last two quarters to pull away and remain undefeated.

Three Blue Devils scored in double-figures led by Josh Craig who had 21 while Austin Rutecki and Avery Andric each had 16. Rutecki added 11 rebounds.

The only other player for Springfield in double-digits was Jake Ford with 18.

Lisbon moves to 6-0 with the win and will travel to Crestview on Tuesday while the Tigers fall to 4-3.
