2 killed in Bowling Green crash

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (WKBN) – Authorities say an early morning crash in northwest Ohio has left two people dead.

The Sentinel-Tribune reports a Saturn SL didn’t yield for a stop sign while making a turn in Lake Township and collided with another car just after midnight Sunday.

The driver and passenger of the Saturn were trapped and had to be extricated by rescue crews. Authorities say neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt. Both of them were pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities didn’t immediately identify the victims.

Police say the driver of the other car wasn’t injured.

The crash is under investigation.
