Hughes leads Western Reserve past Wellsville

Forty-eight of the Devils' sixty-two points were scored by three girls tonight in their home win over Wellsville.

BERLIN CENTER, Ohio (WKBN) – Alexis Hughes scores 24 as Western Reserve downed Wellsville 62-38. Hughes also finished with 7 rebounds. The Lady Devils trailed 11-7 after the first quarter but went onto outscore the Tigers 55-27 over the course of the next three quarters.

Western Reserve also had Sydney Miller and Lauren Falasca chip in with 12 apiece.

Wellsville (5-4) was led by Ashley Bennett’s 21 points.

Reserve will return to action at home next Monday when they welcome United. The Lady Tigers saw their two-game win streak come to a close. They’ll try and get back on track when they visit Oak Glen next Monday.
