WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A man that police say led them on a wild chase near the Eastwood Mall, later launching himself through a restaurant window, was arraigned Tuesday in Warren Municipal Court.
Anthony McClintock, 28, pleaded not guilty to a number of charges, including resisting arrest, receiving stolen property, obstruction of justice, leaving the scene of an accident, criminal damaging and falsification. Bond was set at $150,000.
Police said the chase started in the upper parking lot by Kohl’s, where McClintock was driving in circles. An officer confronted him and he took off, driving over an embankment behind the store toward Mines Road, according to police.
The chase ended at Red Lobster, where Howland Police Chief Paul Monroe tackled McClintock, who had jumped through the window.
