NILES, Ohio (WKBN) – Jacob Larosa, the Niles teenager accused of killing his elderly neighbor, appeared in Trumbull County Court of Common Pleas on Tuesday for his arraignment.
Larosa was indicted by a grand jury last week on charges of aggravated murder, aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and attempted rape. The 16-year-old is being tried as an adult in the brutal murder of his neighbor, 94-year-old Marie Belcastro, at her Cherry Street home back in March.
Authorities held his bond the same, at $3 million, and scheduled a pretrial for January 15.
LaRosa could face life in prison without parole.
