Neshannock Police rewarding designated drivers over holiday

NESHANNOCK TWP., Pa. (WKBN) – The Neshannock Township Police Department is rewarding drivers for not drinking this holiday season.

To help prevent drunk driving accidents, the department will be out in full force this weekend. The department is also encouraging people to use a designated driver and may reward those sober drivers.

The department says it will issue gift cards to designated drivers, depending on the availability. Police say the gift is small thanks for keeping impaired drivers off the roadways.
