Ravenna bank robbery suspect arrested

The Huntington Bank in Ravenna, Ohio was robbed Wednesday.

RAVENNA, Ohio (WKBN) – A suspect believed to be responsible for multiple bank robberies, including two in Ravenna, was arrested.

Cortez Williams, 24, was arrested Tuesday at his home in Carrollton, Ohio.

Williams is charged in connection to two robberies in March and September at Huntington bank locations in the city of Ravenna and a robbery in October of a Huntington Bank location in Carrollton.

Williams was arrested with assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Carrollton Police Department and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
