HOWLAND, OH (WKBN)-Howland used a quick 10-0 run in the first quarter to give the Tigers breathing room in a 69-63 win to give head coach Jason Lee a win over his alma mater Warren JFK.
After falling behind 10-0 early, JFK went on a few quick spurts of their own to get the lead down to two after a Justin Bofenkamp bucket.
But Howland used back-to-back three’s by Kyle Fenton and Connor Tamarkin to extend the lead back to 12.
Howland’s win puts the boys at .500 for the season at 4-4, JFK falls to 2-4 on the year.
