Second suspect ID’d in Niles theft ring

NILES, Ohio (WKBN) – Monday, police released a photo of the second suspect in a shoplifting ring that was busted in Niles last week.

Niles Police arrested Angela Falkner, 41, pictured above, along with Angelic Brown, 40, on Dec. 22. Falkner is scheduled to be arraigned at 8:45 a.m. December 29 on the petty theft charge.

Both women are from the Cleveland area and were arrested at the Eastwood Mall complex. A witnesses spotted them stealing from a store there, according to police.

Police said that the SUV they were riding in was loaded with $10,000 in stolen items.

Both women are charged with theft, while Brown is additionally charged with receiving stolen property and possessing criminal tools.

An inventory of the vehicle uncovered $10,000 in stolen items. The vehicle was packed from the floor to the roof with bags of stolen merchandise, according to police.

Brown was arraigned on Wednesday. A judge set her bond at $5,000, and she was released from jail. She is scheduled to be back in Niles Municipal Court on December 30.
