WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) –  In Warren Municipal Court Tuesday morning, Anthony McClintock waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of failure to comply with a police officer and receiving stolen property. In exchange, prosecutors dropped the misdemeanor falsification and resisting arrest charges.

Police say McClintock fled from police in a stolen car last week, causing a crash on Mines Road near the Eastwood Mall. He then ran away from the scene of the crash and tried to jump through a window at Red Lobster before he was tackled by police.

At the time of his arrest, McClintock was wanted on a felony drug possession charge. A preliminary hearing for that charge is set for next week.
