Macy’s recalling two Martha Stewart frying pans

Macy’s is recalling two Martha Stewart frying pans after customers said metal discs popped off and caused bruises, burns and welts.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says there were seven reports of metal discs popping off the stainless steel frying pans and three reports of injuries.

The 8-inch and 10-inch pans were sold as part of a Martha Stewart Collection 10-piece stainless steel cookware set.

Customers should stop using the pans and return them to Macy’s for a store credit.

The sets cost about $170 and were sold at Macy’s stores and website for four years until September.

You can find additional product information and recall information online.
