YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – It has been a strong year for selling cars, at for at least one local dealership. December’s mild weather is helping, too.
Diane Sauer Chevrolet General Manager John Maze said, even though there are still a few days left in the month, they are expecting sales will be higher this year than they were in 2014.
“We’re hoping to be 10 percent or so better, which is always a good thing, where last year it was kind of with the weather the other way around, but with the good weather the great incentives we have, a lot of people coming in the showrooms right now, so that always adds up to good sales,” Maze said.
Salespeople at the store say it is much easier to sell a car when there isn’t any snow on the ground, because they don’t have to plow the lot or scrape off cars.
