Niles mall theft suspect pleads not guilty

NILES, Ohio (WKBN) – A woman charged with stealing thousands of dollars of merchandise from stores at the Eastwood Mall pleaded not guilty Tuesday..

Angela Falkner pleaded not guilty in Niles Municipal Court to a misdemeanor theft charge. She was released without bond.

Falkner and Angelic Brown were both arrested last week after police said they had more than $10,000 worth of merchandise in their SUV.

A witness called police and told them that the women were stealing.

Brown appeared in court earlier, and a judge set bond for her at $5,000.

Both women are due back in court next month.
